In 1925, Helen Keller challenged the Lions to become "knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness." We proudly accepted that challenge. Ever since, the Brandywine Lions Club has championed sight programs aimed at wiping out preventable blindness.

Through the Lions Recycle For Sight program, we collect used eyewear to help people in developing countries—where eye care is often a luxury, and a single eye exam can cost a month's wages. Your donated glasses are shipped to a regional Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center, where they are cleaned, sorted by prescription, and prepared for global distribution.

Simply drop your donations into the specially marked Lions Recycle For Sight collection boxes at the locations listed below.

We gladly accept:

• Prescription eyeglasses (whole and unbroken)
• Prescription & non-prescription sunglasses
• Eyeglass cases (serviceable and unbroken)
• Used hearing aids (which help restore sound to adults and children worldwide!)

Please Note: 

• We can only accept non-broken, whole pairs of glasses.
• Due to tax regulations, donated glasses do not have a fair market value and are not tax-deductible.
